I’m Amy, the heart behind Dear Colleen Travels — a love letter to women who long to see the world and to find themselves in the beauty of it all.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried this quiet ache to see the world before the world is gone. To wander through new landscapes, meet people whose stories expand my own, and stand in awe of this planet’s natural beauty. Travel has always made me feel small in the best way possible; grounded, grateful, and so deeply alive.
Beyond the places, I’ve always been most drawn to the people. I learned early on just how special it is when women come together. There’s a kind of magic that happens from the laughter, the softness, the safety, the shared spark that reminds you who you are.
I wanted to create a space where that feeling could exist beyond wine nights and group chats. A space where it could be experienced across oceans, sunsets, and shared adventures.
Dear Colleen Travels grew from my love of exploration and my belief in the power of female connection.
Here, every trip is crafted like a love letter to yourself.
A chance to exhale, to let someone else carry the mental load for once, and to fully be present, joyful, and free.
The name Dear Colleen was never just a brand — it was a message.
This is an invitation to every woman who’s ever dreamed of seeing the world, who craves connection to themselves and others. Colleen isn’t one person, she’s all of us. She’s every woman who desires unforgettable getaways, deep friendships, and wine-soaked sunsets. The romantic, the nurturer, the dreamer. Chasing whatever fills her soul.

Start by filling out the contact form on the website! Make sure to include which package or trip you are interested in. You’ll then receive a short questionnaire by email to help me learn about your dream girls trip. Once I have received your completed questionnaire, I’ll reach out within 3 business days to schedule a call and begin the planning process.
Once you sign up on the website, you’ll receive a secure link to submit your deposit and officially reserve your spot. From there, you’ll begin making your scheduled payments and arranging your flight.
A few months before departure, you’ll receive three forms to review and sign: a liability release, a photo and video release, and a code of conduct. About one month before the trip, I’ll host a mandatory group Google Meet to review safety details, expectations, and answer questions (plus it’s a great chance to meet the other women attending!).
One week before departure, you’ll be added to a group chat and shared photo album with the other travelers.
Payment plans are available for the remaining balance after your initial deposit. Please note that some vendor deposits must be paid by specific deadlines. I’ll always communicate due dates clearly and well in advance so you can budget with confidence.
Group sizes range from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10 women. Keeping the groups small helps create a more connected, intimate experience and allows for easier transportation.
If a trip does not reach the minimum number of participants by the sign-up deadline, it will be cancelled and all registered guests will receive a full refund of their deposit. For this reason, please wait for confirmation before booking flights to ensure the trip is moving forward.
Because flights are highly personalized and change frequently, I don’t book them directly. However, I’m always happy to help you find the best options for your schedule and budget!
